PAIR OF NEOCLASSICAL TERRACOTTA VASES LATE 18TH CENTURY
Period: Second half of the 18th century
Price:
€ 2.300
Pair of terracotta vases, made with a stick technique. The vases have a square base, a globular body decorated with raw incisions. The handles, of great originality and distinctive, are adorned with leaves at the base and end at the top with winged griffins with a protruding breast. Between the two griffins there is a pine cone cap, purely decorative, since the inside of the vase has been closed. The patina of the vases is suitable for outdoor use, but they can also be placed indoors, enriching any space with a touch of history and antiquity. Tuscan manufacture from the neoclassical period, around the late 18th century.
