Elegant central writing desk entirely veneered in bois de rose. This refined piece of furniture is distinguished by its curved band and slightly curved legs, enriched by feet decorated with bronze details that further enhance its preciousness. The writing desk is equipped with a pen holder with inkwells, which can be opened via an elegant sliding mechanism. The top, covered in original leather and with a flap, hides a compartment ideal for storing sheets. In addition, the top is removable and features a sophisticated veneer in ebony wood and bois de rose, with geometric patterns, which opens to reveal a perfect surface for playing backgammon. Florentine manufacture, from the second half of the 19th century, probably attributable to the famous craftsman Giuseppe Agostini.
