Elegant tall clock made of poplar and chestnut wood, covered in rosewood and bois de rose. Manufactured in Tuscany, the clock reflects the classic style of the mid-18th century, when mechanisms were purchased in London and assembled according to Tuscan taste. The clock bears the mark of the British artist W. Wasbrough of London, and features a weekly winding mechanism with striking for hours and half hours. The case of the clock is decorated with glass on the front and sides, and ends with three elegant decorative wooden pinecones. The glass door opens from the inside, while the bottom door for the weights and pendulum has an authentic key, as do the weights and pendulum themselves. The clock is in good condition and has been polished with natural shellac. With its refinement and charm, this tall clock is sure to enrich any environment with style.
