Beautiful oil painting on panel depicting Christ, created with a gesso preparation that gives brightness and depth to the figure. The work is attributable to a Venetian painter or one who moved to Veneto in the second half of the 17th century. Christ is portrayed in the "Pantocrator" type, with a beard and long hair that give solemnity to his figure. His gaze, directed downwards, conveys a sense of deep contemplation and suffering. The painting is in excellent condition, with bright colors and finely executed details. It is framed in a carved and gilded wooden frame with pure gold leaf, which further enhances the work.
