Period: First half of the 18th century
Price: € 3.500
Measures H x L x P
Elegant and refined walnut wood monetiere, enriched with gilded bronze and ebony-finished wood details. The onion-shaped feet are made of ebony-finished wood, while the corners are adorned with gilded bronze details, characterized by vegetal and geometric motifs. This piece of furniture, used as a coin or jewelry holder, features a front embellished with eight drawers, cleverly concealed into sixteen. In the center, the decoration depicts a balcony, while below there are two small columns and a small door that, when opened, reveals "secrets" with three additional drawers. This monetiere is a finely crafted piece of furniture, capable of enriching any environment with class and elegance. Made in northern Italy during the Louis XIV period, in the early 18th century, in fact, while recalling the style of the 17th century, the refined details are typical of 18th-century cabinetmaking.
