This Tuscan console table from the mid-18th century, belonging to the Louis XV period, is a piece of furniture of great elegance. Expertly crafted in fine Swiss pine wood, it has been carved and gilded with extreme care, giving the piece a refined appearance. The legs of this console table are arched in the shape of a lyre and feature complex plant interweavings, giving the furniture an aesthetically fascinating appearance. The top of the console table is made of a splendid curved Bardiglio marble, which has been worked and polished with wax to give it brilliance. The edge of the top is finely finished with an elegant owl's beak motif, adding a further touch of refinement to the entire piece.
