Splendid neoclassical representation painted in tempera on canvas, depicting the goddess Venus during her bath. The goddess is seated, semi-nude, with her breasts exposed and surrounded by three attendants who are rushing to assist her. At her feet is her son Cupid, busy taking off her sandals. The harmony of the scene is evident in the serene faces of the characters. The painting is framed in a gilded and lacquered wooden frame, with an ivory tone that further accentuates the beauty of the representation. The work, by an anonymous Tuscan author from the second half of the 18th century, is in excellent condition, maintaining its beauty and neoclassical elegance intact.
